Suifenhe Dongning Airport, referred to as "Suifenhe Airport," is a domestic 4C-level regional airport located in Suiyang Town, Dongning City, 31 kilometers west of the urban area of Suifenhe City, Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province, China. It is 62 kilometers away from Dongning City and 66 kilometers away from Muleng City.
Suifenhe Airport is one of the key construction projects in Heilongjiang Province during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period. On December 30, 2016, the feasibility study report was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission; on April 6, 2017, the master plan was approved by the Civil Aviation Northeast Regional Administration; on October 10, 2017, the construction of the terminal area and auxiliary projects commenced; on August 16, 2024, the main project completed the completion acceptance; on December 6, 2024, the "Transport Airport Open Use License" was obtained; and on December 28, 2024, the first flight guarantee was completed.
Suifenhe Airport covers an area of 1.97 square kilometers, with one runway of 2500 meters by 45 meters, equipped with a dual-direction precision approach instrument landing system, six C-class apron stands, a 4874 square meter terminal building, a 3040 square meter air traffic control complex, and related facilities such as communication, navigation, meteorology, fuel supply, power supply, water supply, and fire rescue. It can accommodate C-class aircraft such as Boeing 737 and Airbus 320 series, with an annual passenger throughput of 450,000 people, cargo and mail throughput of 3,600 tons, and flight takeoffs and landings of 4,788 times.
