Ganzhou Ruijin Airport is 10 kilometers away from the downtown area of Ruijin. It started construction in 2020 and has a flight zone grade index of 4C. The airport has a runway that is 2,600 meters long and 45 meters wide, which can accommodate the takeoff and landing of Airbus A321, Boeing 738 and smaller aircraft models. It is designed to meet the target of an annual passenger throughput of 550,000 people and a cargo and mail throughput of 2,000 tons.

Ganzhou Ruijin Airport was put into operation on September 28, 2025. As of October 28, 2025, it has opened routes to Beijing, Shanghai and Zunyi.
